Cheery Lynn Designs Roses Challenge

The challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs is roses.  Cheery Lynn has some fabulous dies that make wonderful roses.  I have chosen to use three of them to make my flowers.  I created my card using the new Scalloped A2 Frames Rectangle dies then layered the gorgeous Deutschland Boutique Stacker A2 Frame on top.   Using the coordinating A2 Frames Rectangle, I created an opening in my Deutschland Boutique Frame and added my French Lattice Small Frame behind the opening.

To create my flowers I layered two Large Rose petals, one Medium Rose petal and one Miniature Rose petal.  I die cut them from text weight Cryogen Metallic paper, added some Picked Raspberry Distress ink and then dry embossed and shaped them before gluing them together.  I added some gold Beadazzles to the flower centers.  Lastly, I die cut my Royal Scandinavian Tag 2 die adding some Distress ink before removing it from the die.  I trimmed off the fancy swirls and then mounted it onto my card using pop dots.  Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

Be sure to visit the Cheery Lynn Designs blog for more inspiration and to enter the challenge for a chance to win $20 towards shopping at Cheery Lynn.

This is gorgeous Sandy! I had to get a closer look to find out how you made those flowers. Love the white on white layering too. Just lovely!
